About Us

Having seen a lot of complex courses and mis-information about GDPR, Liam Mitchell-Dolby and Rachel Allen decided to form GDPR-MK together to give the businesses of Milton Keynes absolute clarity about what they need to do to get GDPR ready and to make sure it’s accessible and easy to manage for small businesses. Both Liam and Rachel run their own small business in the Milton Keynes area so they understand the pressure of making sure they’re GDPR compliant whilst keeping their businesses going!

Liam Mitchell-Dolby is the owner of LMD Design, a web design and development agency based in Milton Keynes. Liam has extensive experience of all aspects of web design and development and managing creative digital projects.

Liam on GDPR: “This doesn’t have to be scary! By getting started now, businesses have lots of time to implement what they need to and still maintain effective results from email marketing.”

Rachel Allen founded Rachel Allen Marketing in 2015 and has worked with a number of businesses in the local area to deliver digital marketing and social media marketing services. Rachel uses her 15 years’ experience in marketing to deliver practical solutions for businesses.

Rachel on GDPR: “The most important thing to do is think about your customer. How and where and why you keep their data. If they don’t want to hear from you any more, then they aren’t really a customer. Tidy up your database, make sure you’re GDPR compliant and I’m sure you’ll get better results from your email marketing.”

GDPR doesn’t have to be as complicated as it sounds and there are some really practical steps businesses can take to get GDPR ready. Take a look at our blog to find out what you can start doing today or head over to one of our GDPR information sessions.
